What you will do

• Run process recipes to produce slurry batches using lab and pilot-scale equipment
• Apply coating processes to create battery electrode prototypes for testing
• Perform measurements with instruments like microscopes, Instron machines, balances, and wet chemistry
• Develop new processes following engineers' guidance
• Record and update data in online databases accurately
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and scientists to communicate results and fix issues
• Maintain clean, safe lab environment and handle hazardous materials responsibly

Requirements

• At least 3 years hands-on experience as Engineering Technician or equivalent STEM education (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Proven ability to evaluate and solve simple process and equipment problems
• Dexterity for micro-assembly of components with tight tolerances
• Multitasking skills to complete assignments on time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass respirator fit test, wear PPE (lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes), lift 50 lbs with equipment, and perform repetitive benchtop work
