What you will do

• Lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end from discovery through architecture, execution, and production iteration.
• Partner with product and design to shape strategy, roadmap, and assumptions based on technical insight.
• Elevate developer experience for firmware engineers discovering, integrating, debugging, monitoring, and updating devices.
• Design and build scalable systems across frontend and backend to handle growing adoption.
• Influence organization-wide technical direction, establish patterns, and mentor engineers.
• Operate fluidly across React/TypeScript frontends, Python backends, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years building and shipping web applications in production at staff or principal level.
• Deep expertise in complex React/TypeScript frontends, scalable Python backends, Postgres/Clickhouse, and AWS.
• Experience influencing technical direction via architecture, RFCs, cross-team alignment, or mentorship.
• Full lifecycle experience: operating production systems, debugging incidents, postmortems, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT platforms, device management, or embedded systems tooling.
• Background in developer tools, developer experience, or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with messaging systems or high-throughput data pipelines.
