What you will do

• Build and maintain tools for developing and testing Java services and system packages on the JVM.
• Enrich and streamline the Java developer experience with debugging, profiling, and code optimization utilities.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers across the company to design elegant systems.
• Create and maintain standards and libraries for robust communication between services.
• Articulate a technical vision and execute it, iterating quickly with CI/CD principles.
• Learn from and work closely with experienced engineers, sharing skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United Kingdom.
• Highly proficient in Java, Scala and/or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining tools and libraries.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders on high-impact projects.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and rolling out productivity tools across medium to large organizations.
• Great understanding of Linux, databases, service-oriented architecture, and Maven/Gradle.
• Excited about scalability, reliability, and performance challenges.
