What you will do

• Lead a team of four analysts in the BI department, collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders like Customer Support, Host Experience, Sales.
• Engage with senior leadership on strategic projects influencing product strategy, operations, and revenue.
• Translate business problems into analytical requirements, communicate insights to technical and commercial audiences.
• Perform hands-on analytical work, build solutions, and set quality standards for the team.
• Shape department strategy, future of AI-powered data products, recruit talent, and develop your team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analytics experience
• People management experience (not your first leadership role)
• Collaborative mindset with experience communicating with executives and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills: SQL, Python (or similar), data visualization, technical frameworks for business needs
• Commitment to AI enablement, actively using tools like Claude for coding, planning, workflows
• Mission-driven mentality, managing multi-stakeholder projects from customer/business needs to insights

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Stack (Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3), Airflow, dbt, Looker
