Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting enhancements of a digital mortgage platform, defining requirements and improving integrations, automation, and cloud-based banking services with an accent on system resilience, credit agency integrations, and AWS migration. Focus on eliciting detailed requirements from stakeholders, designing new operating models, and creating process flows and acceptance criteria for User Stories.

Location: Worldwide

Salary: EUR 1550-2500 per month (gross). Final compensation depends on experience and location.

What you will do

• Provide project-level analysis and produce documentation including business requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, and UAT plans.
• Run workshops and interviews to elicit requirements from stakeholders like Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
• Design new business operating models, processes, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create process flows, acceptance criteria, and data specifications for User Stories.
• Review requirements with product owners and SMEs, prepare for sign-off, and resolve design queries during implementation.
• Develop training materials, support adoption of changes, and contribute to agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups.

Requirements

• 3+ years as Business Analyst.
• Industry qualifications or certification in fintech/banking.
• Track record in financial services business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Ability to translate business concepts into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Experience with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, GSuite, LucidChart or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail.
• English: Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile delivery methods, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
