Business Analyst (E-Commerce)

What you will do

• Partner with Product Manager to shape and prioritize backlog, translating business goals into clear requirements.
• Own end-to-end requirements for frontend and backend teams from discovery through delivery.
• Maintain and develop documentation of existing functionality, systems, flows, and edge cases.
• Write User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and feature specs to eliminate ambiguity.
• Lead refinement sessions and provide context for estimation and confident delivery.
• Act as go-to person for team questions, resolving functional ambiguities quickly.
• Proactively identify blockers, dependencies, and gaps.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle, including backend systems and APIs.
• Solid command of Agile methodologies in product environment.
• Confident with A/B testing principles.
• Product mindset focused on business value, user needs, and outcomes.
• Strong facilitation, communication, analytical, and system thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence; UML/BPMN or similar.
• English: Upper Intermediate (working language for documentation)

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce products.
• Experience with Shopify-based e-commerce products.
