Interim Finance Director

Salary: £110-130k pro rata (dependent on experience)

What you will do

• Provide oversight on month-end close, improve finance processes, ensure compliance including statutory filings, audit prep, and EMI scheme administration.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of three finance professionals in a high-performing environment.
• Support strategy planning, re-forecasting, deliver actionable insights to leadership, identify risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong track record in finance leadership in startup or high-growth environment
• Comfortable with hands-on month-end work and presenting strategic recommendations to CEO/board
• Understanding of venture-backed business mechanics: unit economics, SaaS/marketplace metrics, investor reporting
• Experience with statutory compliance, audit processes, share option schemes (EMI a plus)
• Interim experience or excitement for fixed-term pace; move quickly, communicate clearly
