Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (React-Native/AWS): Building and maintaining secure, scalable fullstack applications supporting critical customer needs with an accent on mobile development, backend services, and cloud infrastructure. Salary: USD $40–$60 per hour, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Take ownership of mobile development using React-Native and collaborate with lead engineers on best practices.
• Capture technical requirements and contribute to high-level and low-level design for software solutions using React-Native and AWS.
• Write production-grade code, implement testing strategies and automation across the stack.
• Support features across frontend, backend, and cloud; participate in design discussions and code reviews.
• Handle deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting; support documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to accelerate development and integration.

Requirements

• Primary residence in Colombia; no visa sponsorship.
• 8+ years professional software development; 4+ years React-Native mobile apps.
• Full SDLC experience; strong production-grade reliability, observability, security.
• Strong React-Native, Expo, EAS; e2e testing; React, Vite, TypeScript, REST API, WebSockets.
• Event-driven AWS platforms knowledge (security, logging, monitoring, DataDog).
• State management (Redux, MobX, etc.); CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Expo).
• BS or higher in Computer Science or related.

Nice to have

• Native iOS/Android, Kotlin, Tailwind.
• AWS (Lambda, Fargate, RDS, etc.); Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Django.
• Relational/non-relational data modeling; Docker, Terraform/Pulumi; Postgres, Redis, etc.
• Client-facing or consulting experience.
