What you will do

• Lead architecture and development of IR seeker hardware and software from concept to production
• Conduct trade studies on performance, cost, size, risk, including acquisition models and error budgets
• Optimize seeker performance in MWIR/LWIR thermal environments with radome integration
• Define execution strategy, select vendors, manage SOWs, and align internal teams on requirements
• Ensure designs provide performance-per-cost advantages and communicate progress to leadership and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or related
• Direct experience with IR missile seeker systems
• Strong systems engineering in hardware and software
• Experience with IR sensing (MWIR/LWIR), tracking, and guidance
• Ability to develop and present technical materials to stakeholders
• Ability to work extended hours including evenings/weekends

Nice to have

• Experience taking electro-optical systems from concept to production
• Modeling, simulation, and trade studies for high-performance systems
• Familiarity with radome design and thermal integration challenges
• Working with vendors and managing technical deliverables
