What you will do

• Maintain policy knowledge bases, issue trackers, and monitor U.S. federal, state, local legislation impacting products.
• Draft talking points, policy messaging, and materials for events, blogs, and responses.
• Collaborate with Legal, Trust & Safety, and Sales on regulatory inquiries.
• Design AI prototypes, prompts, and interfaces to streamline policy workflows and synthesize data into insights.
• Track AI legislation, cybersecurity mandates, and public sector compliance like FedRAMP.
• Draft memos and briefs on how regulations affect product roadmap including AI Gateway.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in technology, engineering, public policy, law, or related field.
• Strong interest in Internet/tech policy, cybersecurity, privacy, AI.
• Experience building/deploying AI tools, AI-augmented coding, natural language programming.
• Research, writing, analytical skills to distill legislation into business advice.
• Self-starter, thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environment; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, written and oral, required.
• Location: Washington D.C. in-office.

Nice to have

• Prior experience teaching AI to non-technical users.
• Experience in government, policy org, trade association, or tech company.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products, cloud infrastructure, Internet mechanics.
