What you will do

• Design, build, and scale REST APIs and large-scale data processing pipelines for high-volume datasets in distributed systems.
• Architect and optimize backend services for high throughput and low-latency performance.
• Develop data-intensive, event-driven applications using Python, Typescript, Spark, and AWS services.
• Process and transform large datasets with Spark, EMR, Glue, Kafka, or similar frameworks.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of microservices and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, DevOps, and QA; mentor developers and conduct code reviews.
• Automate deployments and CI/CD with Terraform, Serverless Framework, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 7+ years backend or full-stack engineering with strong backend focus.
• 7+ years hands-on Python for APIs, automation, and large-scale data pipelines.
• 3+ years Typescript / Node.js.
• Advanced AWS experience (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Step Functions).
• Strong Kubernetes for production workloads.
• Experience with large datasets, distributed computing, Spark, Dask, EMR, Glue, Kafka.
• Strong business-level English for cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid system design, distributed systems, scalability, and cloud architecture knowledge.
