What you will do

• Design and implement serverless Lambda functions with structured logging.
• Build complex multi-step data workflows using AWS Step Functions with robust error handling.
• Extract and transform data from Snowflake using PyArrow for memory efficiency.
• Integrate with REST APIs and manage secure authentication.
• Optimize SQL queries in Snowflake for performance.
• Maintain system observability and troubleshoot pipelines using CloudWatch and DataDog.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python experience in cloud ecosystems.
• Strong background in AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3).
• Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and complex transformations.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and Git-based workflows.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines with a focus on idempotency and state management.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed tracing tools like AWS X-Ray.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or SaaS platform integrations.
• Ability to define structured logging standards for large-scale data pipelines.
