Assoc Packaging Engineer

Location: El Segundo, California, at hirify.global's Worldwide Headquarters

Annual base salary: $71,000–$85,000, determined by work location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Design and develop innovative structural packaging solutions for worldwide product launches.
• Create 3D packaging structures that complement and protect complex products.
• Develop package concepts for cost estimates, alternative solutions, and cost savings.
• Manage multiple projects and meet packaging and business schedules.
• Create standard engineering drawings using paper materials and multiple plastics.
• Present ideas, problems, and solutions while collaborating with Packaging Design, Marketing, Product Design, Project Management, and China teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Packaging or industrial design experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes and detailed packaging specifications.
• Proficiency in Artios CAD and 3D modeling, such as SolidWorks.
• Ability to develop innovative package solutions, communicate ideas clearly, and create standard engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects.
