What you will do

• Install material handling and processing equipment.
• Perform changeovers and setups for packaging equipment.
• Maintain machinery and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Organize parts inventory and communicate with supervisors, mechanics, and vendors.
• Participate as a team member on various projects while following GMP policies and safety practices.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Sanford, NC, US, exposed to fumes, moving parts, vibration, and varying temperatures.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Level 8 proficiency: excel in one area (electrical, control systems, mechanical shop/production skills, people skills, creativity) and perform rudimentary tasks in all.
• Electrical: replace motors, install switches, use test equipment, terminate wires, repair circuits.
• Mechanical: operate lathe/milling machine, welding, accurate measurements, troubleshoot production equipment.
• Medium physical demands: lift 21-50 lbs occasionally, stand/walk 6+ hours, frequent stooping.
