Programmer (Platforms)

TL;DR

Mid Level Programmer (Platforms): Working collaboratively to port games to console platforms, focusing on platform compliance and certification. Focus on evaluating requirements, working across multiple systems, and resolving performance issues.

Location: Fully remote within the UK. Must have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Collaborate with other disciplines to carry out project work.
• Evaluate the requirements to bring titles to other platforms.
• Perform work across multiple systems, including multiplayer, graphics, authentication, input, and save data.
• Assist in other areas of development depending on your skill set (systems / gameplay etc).

Requirements

• Experience with one or more console SDKs (Xbox GDK, PS5 SDK, Switch 1/2 SDKs).
• Commercial game engine experience (Unreal Engine / Unity).
• Knowledge of a scripting language (C++ / C#).
• Knowledge of an IDE (Rider, Visual Studio).
• Knowledge of profiling tools (PIX GDK, Razor, engine profiler).
• Must have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
