What you will do

• Design and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead the migration of a WordPress-based platform to AWS, including infrastructure setup, data migration, and performance optimization.
• Configure and maintain web server environments (Apache/Nginx) and support PHP-based applications in production.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using DataDog to ensure high availability and system performance.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, network security, and access control.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash and Python scripting.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
• Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring and observability (logs, metrics, alerts).
• Scripting skills (Bash and/or Python).
• Practical experience deploying or migrating PHP-based applications (e.g., WordPress).
• Good spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with WordPress migrations to AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience handling security incidents and implementing mitigation strategies (e.g., rate limiting, WAF, access controls).
• Understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, WAF, etc.).
• Experience with serverless/containerized environments (Lambda, ECS).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
