What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend systems for APIs and internal services.
• Own projects end-to-end from scoping and design to production delivery.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to modernize legacy systems.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and CI/CD hygiene.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services using modern cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for production systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Proven track record of delivering production systems end-to-end.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and service-based architectures.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable systems and refactor legacy components.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto, or high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with asynchronous task queues and event-driven architecture.
• Prior experience in early-stage, high-ambiguity startup environments.
