What you will do

  • Drive the architectural vision for complex systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement high-performance services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies, including AI/ML capabilities and advanced APIs.
  • Tackle high-performance backend design challenges and resolve architectural debt.
  • Elevate the engineering organization through direct mentorship and setting high-level best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, GTM, and R&D groups to develop tailored technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in backend software development with strong Java and Spring Boot foundations.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer, preferably in an enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
