TL;DR

What you will do

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of major product initiatives, coordinating delivery across Backend, Frontend, and Product teams.
  • Establish and drive team-level best practices for code quality, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.
  • Analyze and debug intricate technical challenges across the stack to ensure long-term system reliability.
  • Manage risks and coordinate dependencies between multiple teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
  • Implement preventive measures and high-performance solutions to keep services running smoothly under load.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale backend development.
  • Strong emphasis on Java programming (a must).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and scalable microservices architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex technical issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Tel Aviv.

Nice to have

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Experience building data-oriented applications and APIs.
  • Proficiency in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
