What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Java.
• Lead the gradual migration from Python-based services to Java, ensuring system stability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and complex backend integrations.
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions regarding service boundaries and migration strategy.
• Debug production issues to improve system reliability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with international engineering, product, and design teams across time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) and Java (Spring Boot).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and TDD.
• English: C1 level required (Excellent written and verbal communication).
