DevOps Engineer (Junior)

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

What you will do

• Deploy and configure services using cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Compute Engine.
• Manage Linux-based servers and debug cluster-based computing architectures.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Maintain and update third-party software and APIs to ensure compatibility and security.
• Develop automated ETL processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support for internal teams.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Ability to work on-site in Quantico, VA.
• Proficiency in scripting or basic programming for problem-solving.
• Knowledge of SDLC standards and secure coding practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with multisystem environments such as FBINET, UNET, or STACS-DB.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or LXC.
