What you will do

• Build and enhance cross-platform mobile apps using React Native, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, and Rust.
• Integrate mobile applications with IoT devices using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cloud services.
• Develop smart features such as real-time syncing, remote control, and push notifications.
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and firmware engineers to shape smart products.
• Test and troubleshoot applications across various devices and operating systems.

Requirements

• Current student in a related Bachelor's or Master's program.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with at least 3 days onsite in Needham, MA.
• Prior experience in mobile app development or testing through internships or classroom projects.
• Proficiency with React Native and TypeScript.
• Understanding of IoT ecosystems, APIs, and protocols such as BLE, MQTT, and HTTP.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Git version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
• Knowledge of low-level languages like Rust or C/C++.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Firebase or AWS IoT.
• Skills in UI/UX design using Figma.
• Personal projects involving Bluetooth or smart home integrations.
