What you will do

• Build production applications within small, cross-functional XP teams using a variety of modern languages.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers through constant pair programming.
• Implement and evolve XP practices, including TDD, refactoring, and CI/CD.
• Operate and support production applications as a team within a DevSecOps model, including on-call rotations.
• Lead technical discovery efforts for existing systems, specifically legacy mainframes.
• Mentor developers and foster organizational growth through tech talks and onboarding.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a software engineer in a team-based environment.
• Comfortable working as a full-stack developer.
• Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Elixir, Rust, Go, Nix).
• Passion for or demonstrated experience with XP practices like pair programming and TDD.
• Must be based in Poland.
• Strong communication, collaboration skills, and empathy.

Nice to have

• Experience with COBOL or legacy mainframe systems.
• Familiarity with Nix.
