What you will do

• Plan and execute UAV test flights for fixed-wing, VTOL, and Drone-in-a-Box platforms following strict safety protocols.
• Perform hardware integration, wiring checks, and calibration of sensors and avionics modules.
• Troubleshoot system issues during ground and flight testing to provide rapid technical feedback to engineering teams.
• Validate new software builds, payload configurations, and avionics updates.
• Prepare test plans, test cards, and detailed technical reports to support iterative development.
• Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulations and participate in operational risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1-2 years of aviation experience, preferably with UAVs, RC modeling, or as an LSA/GA pilot with 100+ hours.
• Strong technical background in robotics, electronics, avionics, or hardware integration.
• Proven ability to perform hardware setup, wiring verification, and system-level diagnostics.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and challenging outdoor climatic conditions.
• Must be based in or able to work in the United Arab Emirates.

Nice to have

• Certification from recognized aviation authorities such as FAA, EASA, or ICAO.
