What you will do
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on commercial insurance benefit design and patient cost shares.
- Provide consultative support and escalation coverage for complex billing and insurance cases.
- Develop scalable enablement materials, playbooks, and FAQs for frontline teams.
- Own the measurement and improvement of patient cost estimate accuracy using claims outcomes and variance analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align operational guidance with payor contracts.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance operations, patient financial services, or revenue cycle management (RCM).
- Deep understanding of commercial insurance benefit design and cost share mechanics.
- Ability to interpret complex billing information and communicate it clearly to patients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience acting as a subject matter expert or escalation resource.
- Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
- Must be based in the US (indicated by 401k and US health benefits).

- Exposure to value-based payment models or non-standard contracting.
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation for operational improvement.
