What you will do

• Define and implement automated testing for cloud systems, platforms, and APIs in an agile environment.
• Build testing frameworks using automation tools and integrate test stages into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with SRE teams to develop strategies to meet required SLAs and SLOs.
• Set quality goals and implement quality gates within the software development lifecycle.
• Provide line management, mentoring, and technical coaching for junior software developers in test.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automated software testing within an agile and DevOps culture.
• Proficiency with tools such as Robot, Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
• Strong experience with Java, Python, or another OO language.
• Proven track record of testing bespoke enterprise-scale cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and relational databases such as MySQL.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.

Nice to have

• Experience in BDD and creating tests using Gherkin syntax.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as DataDog, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with NoSQL database engines like Mongo or Neo4j.
