Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems supporting real-time hospitality operations.
• Own key features throughout the full software development lifecycle, from technical design to deployment and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data science to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Utilize Python, Django, Cloud Firestore, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch to build scalable and reliable software.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance system architecture and overall code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development within a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Must be located in or able to travel to London every 4-6 weeks.
