What you will do

• Drive large, complex projects autonomously from technical design through to launch.
• Act as Technical Lead for specific work streams, providing guidance and management to other engineers.
• Tackle complex architectural challenges and implement company-wide initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates to foster professional growth.
• Identify technical debt and shape future work streams to improve platform reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with internal Risk teams and 3rd party auditors to validate platform security and compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building software using modern delivery techniques and clean code principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based solution design and architectural concepts.
• Demonstrable ability to motivate others and mentor junior team members.
• Ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to pass a police background check.
• Based in or able to work hybrid in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
