What you will do

• Own and evolve the architecture for Windows services and .NET Framework based components.
• Define engineering frameworks and coding standards for performance, threading, and memory management.
• Establish patterns for installation, upgrade, and migration frameworks for long-lived enterprise deployments.
• Drive platform performance through MSSQL query optimization, indexing strategies, and efficient data access.
• Implement security-by-design principles, including secrets management and certificate lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and lead end-to-end delivery of complex architectural initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep experience building Windows-based applications using .NET Framework (specifically not .NET Core).
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including execution plan analysis and indexing strategies.
• Proven experience developing and supporting on-premises enterprise-deployed software.
• Knowledge of secure software design in restricted or air-gapped enterprise environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Salt Lake City, Utah.
