Final Shipping Inspector

Location: Onsite in Torrance, CA. This role requires U.S. work authorization for access to export-controlled information.

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Perform final hardware inspection for external visual and dimensional features including damage, tie-wire, and nameplates.
• Review test data sheets for conformance, accuracy, and legibility.
• Coordinate final inspections by organizing and assigning tasks for products coming from stock rooms.
• Ensure inspected products are cleared for shipping with complete and accurate documentation.
• Investigate and resolve issues preventing shipments while escalating critical blockers to management.
• Maintain product flow tracking from stock rooms through inspection to the shipping department.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in inspection or quality assurance within a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of FAA processes as applied to final shipping inspection.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written work instructions in English.
• Must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA.
• Must be eligible for enrollment in the company's F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.

• Associate’s degree in Materials Management or Business.
