Location: Must be based in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA, or VA. Hybrid expectation: If located in WA and within commuting distance of Tukwila, must work from HQ on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Salary: $189,000–$230,700

What you will do

• Provide enterprise-level architectural oversight for core banking, payments, and digital platforms.
• Lead the modernization of legacy platforms using cloud-native, .NET, and event-driven architectures.
• Establish and champion enterprise standards, patterns, and constraints to ensure security and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks to ensure operational stability in a highly regulated environment.
• Develop blueprints that guide delivery teams and support long-term business roadmaps.
• Mentor other architects and influence technology stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise architectures.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a project lead role for large strategic initiatives.
• Must reside in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA, or VA.
• Expertise in Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks (on-premises, cloud, hybrid).
• Deep knowledge of service architecture hosting, security, and risk management (IAM, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience driving AI adoption and intelligent automation within enterprise architectures.
• Experience designing or governing intelligent, reusable API patterns.
• Advanced degree or industry certifications (LEAN, Agile/Scrum, ITIL).
• Background in modernizing core banking operations in regulated financial environments.
