What you will do

• Lead technical sourcing for finished products, managing the process from supplier identification to production ramp-up.
• Leverage AI, ERP systems, and digital tools to enhance supply chain visibility, traceability, and data-driven decision-making.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize inventory management and predict supply chain disruptions.
• Manage end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and lead commercial negotiations.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical capability, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships to drive performance and align with operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing, purchasing, supplier engineering, or supply chain project management.
• Experience implementing AI/ML concepts to optimize supply chain processes.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers (CMs) and EMS providers.
• Must be based in or near the Porto Metropolitan Area.
• Must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer electronics, medical devices, or regulated hardware environments.
• Knowledge of PLM tools and digital supply chain optimization solutions.
• Experience automating purchasing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Exposure to dual sourcing and redesign-to-value initiatives.
