What you will do

• Design and implement backend services in .NET for financial operations, including accounts, wallets, and transactions.
• Own and optimize PostgreSQL-based data models and queries to ensure performance across multiple services.
• Develop and maintain server-to-server API integrations for critical payment flows.
• Contribute to core architecture and scalable orchestration of financial workflows within a microservices ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to validate complex business scenarios and edge cases.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with C# / .NET.
• Proven experience working with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on production experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Deep understanding of data consistency, transactions, and financial correctness.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Belgrade.

Nice to have

• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized services.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in complex environments.
