What you will do

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for fabricated industrial equipment and assemblies.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Validate engineering drawings for manufacturability (DFM), focusing on weld details, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Manage ERP data integrity by creating routings, labor standards, and processing documentation for shop release.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and act as a technical bridge between engineering and production.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives, including value stream mapping and waste reduction efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, welding, and assembly.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Ruston, LA office.

Nice to have

• 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing environment.
• Experience with welding, structural fabrication, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
