What you will do
- Design and optimize mathematical hardware elements (Datapath) for graphics cores.
- Develop internal tools using formal verification technology to identify and remove arithmetically dead code.
- Implement and verify transcendental functions within polynomial datapaths.
- Innovate and formally verify new floating-point hardware implementations.
- Utilize machine learning algorithms to explore design spaces for power, performance, and area optimization.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Must be eligible to work in the US and able to follow a hybrid model in Folsom, California.
Nice to have
- Software/Hardware experience with Verilog, C++, Python, Perl, or TCL.
- Understanding of floating-point arithmetic.
- Awareness of Hardware Formal Verification methodologies.
