Salary: €8,075 – €10,925 gross per month

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers to establish technical excellence and clear ownership.
• Define and execute a long-term roadmap for foundational infrastructure, aligning technical needs with business goals.
• Scale global physical data center capacity and streamline server provisioning to support company growth.
• Own end-to-end traffic management, including Edge architecture, API Gateways, and DNS.
• Oversee the evolution and stability of Kubernetes and Istio-based compute platforms.
• Manage domain-wide headcount planning and vendor budgets in the tens of millions of euros.

Requirements

• Proven track record of scaling large engineering organizations and maturing management teams through coaching.
• Ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable, large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Deep technical understanding of scaling compute and networking layers at a global scale.
• Experience defining KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and align plans with senior leadership and other Directors.
