What you will do

• Analyze trends and patterns in large data-sets to establish threat trends across regions, industries, and business segments.
• Investigate phishing emails and perform malware analysis, including configuration of isolated VMs and static/dynamic analysis.
• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the hirify.global email platform independently.
• Conduct independent research projects and contribute regularly to external-facing Threat Labs blogs.
• Assist internal departments with actionable threat intelligence.
• Communicate complex threat knowledge in customer-facing environments.

Requirements

• BS degree with 3+ years of experience or MS degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Strong proficiency with IOCs, reverse engineering, and threat campaign tracking.
• Experience in malicious URL and phishing email analysis.
• Experience in customer-facing environments and triaging complex customer queries.
• Must be based in Arlington, Virginia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python for automation.
• Experience working with databases such as SQL or MQL.
