What you will do

• Architect and develop new versions of the InstantSearch platform, including open-source libraries and backend APIs.
• Design and implement features leveraging agentic patterns, LLMs, and AI-driven workflows within the platform.
• Solve technical issues and analyze user feedback for popular open-source projects.
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to coordinate the release of new projects and websites.
• Mentor team members and help define engineering best practices and processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in agentic experience design, development patterns, and relevant AI SDKs.
• Deep understanding of building and optimizing UIs leveraging autonomous agents and LLMs.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the frontend ecosystem (DOM, frameworks, bundlers).
• Proven experience creating at least one reusable module (private or open source).
• Experience working in high-growth environments ($50-300M ARR range).
• Must be based in Paris, France.
