TL;DR

Senior Pricing Analyst (Global Pricing): Architecting and validating advanced pricing models to balance customer affordability with unit economics with an accent on statistical rigour and causal inference. Focus on developing pricing algorithms, optimizing BigQuery pipelines, and translating complex data into actionable business strategies.

Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany). Must be based in or be able to relocate to Berlin, with a requirement to be in the office 2 days a week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Data Science team to research and develop new pricing algorithms and statistical models.
• Lead causality analysis for pricing rollouts to distinguish between correlation and causation and identify value leakage.
• Optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to support the technical architecture of pricing automation pipelines.
• Build engaging data visualizations and tools in Tableau and Python to facilitate executive decision-making.
• Partner with Global Marketing and Regional Ops leads to translate complex statistical outputs into actionable narratives.
• Manage data stewardship for pricing dimensions, metrics, and KPIs in collaboration with Data Engineering.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or highly quantitative Data Analyst.
• Strong background in Statistics and Data Science.
• Mastery of BigQuery and SQL, with the ability to build Python-based modeling pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Deep expertise in causal inference, statistics, and price elasticity modeling.
• Deep understanding of unit economics and how pricing experiments affect business metrics.
