What you will do

• Lead the technical direction of the React micro-frontend platform built on single-spa, managing module federation and code splitting.
• Own the evolution of the design system using Radix UI, Tailwind CSS, and design tokens in a monorepo environment.
• Drive the large-scale migration from Material-UI and styled-components to a modern, token-driven component library.
• Deliver AI-native product experiences and intelligent frontend features leveraging LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Define and implement frontend engineering standards, including testing patterns with Vitest and linting with Biome.
• Mentor and elevate engineers across the organization, acting as a force multiplier for frontend quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time in senior or staff-level frontend roles.
• Deep expertise in React 18/19, TypeScript, and modern component architecture patterns.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable design systems and Figma-to-code workflows.
• Strong proficiency with GraphQL, Apollo Client, and federation.
• Track record of leading large-scale frontend migrations without production disruption.
• Must be based in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Daily experience building with AI tools like Claude Code.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, Core Web Vitals, and bundle analysis.
• Experience with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo and pnpm workspaces.
