Location: Hybrid (Sofia, BG) — Must be based in Sofia, BG (office 3 days per week)

What you will do
- Develop scalable and reliable core functionality for internal and customer-facing products, systems, and data platforms.
- Build extensible architectures to enable the rapid launch of new products and business lines.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
- Create the APIs powering web and mobile platforms for the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, QAs, and product managers to own features end-to-end from scoping to deployment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
- Practical experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Experience with relational databases and search engines.
- Strong experience with TDD and writing testable code (unit, integration, performance).
- Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria to attend the office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience building high-load cloud systems supporting millions of 24/7 users.
- Familiarity with modern JS frameworks.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
