What you will do

• Develop efficient, scalable, and secure software using Java and Angular.
• Apply OOP concepts and design patterns to ensure high-quality code standards.
• Collaborate with agile teams during scrums, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Participate in technical design, requirements analysis, and implementation phases.
• Create and maintain automated unit and integration test suites to prevent regressions.
• Mentor other engineers through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in professional software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, SpringBoot, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Joins, Views, and REST Web Services.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with Struts, Backbone, or Marionette.
• Knowledge of Microservices and Serverless architectures.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
