Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 base salary + equity + tokens

What you will do

• Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines for blockchain data, trading events, and market signals at high volume and low latency.
• Own end-to-end ETL/ELT processes to transform raw on-chain data into reliable datasets for product, engineering, and ML teams.
• Build and optimize data models and schemas to support real-time trading analytics, P&L calculations, and liquidity monitoring.
• Establish data quality frameworks, including monitoring, alerting, testing, and validation.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and driving architectural decisions for the data platform.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design event schemas and data contracts for real-time data flow.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for building production data pipelines and shared infrastructure.
• Experience designing cloud-based data pipelines using orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Temporal.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including CI/CD, testing, and version control.

• Familiarity with DeFi, trading platforms, and concepts like liquidity and orderbooks.
• Experience with blockchain data, EVM-compatible chains, and dbt for large-scale data systems.

• Experience with streaming data and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink).
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and product analytics frameworks.
