UI/UX Design Intern (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Apply player-centered design to conduct research and create wireframes for optimal user flows.
• Develop cohesive visual UI layers, focusing on graphic design principles, colors, and typography.
• Implement UI assets and prefabs directly into the Decima game engine.
• Create UI animations and motion design using After Effects to add emotion and expression to the player experience.
• Collaborate with game designers, audio engineers, and UI coders to integrate complex systems into the game.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study.
• Able to live, work, and commute to the Amsterdam studio.
• Experience with UI/UX design and an affinity for interaction or motion design.
• Passion for AAA games and an understanding of player psychology.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of layout, shape language, and digital painting.
