UX Design Intern (Home Appliances)

TL;DR

UX Design Intern (UI/UX): Supporting the experience design team in crafting user experiences for home appliances via apps and embedded UI with an accent on user research, interaction design, and prototyping. Focus on creating wireframes, experience flow maps, and interactive prototypes in Figma to enhance user delight and ease.

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Must be registered as a student during the entire internship period and eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Support UX/UI design activities as part of the Solution Development process.
• Conduct consumer and competitor research to identify user needs and design opportunities.
• Create physical product UI and app content, including wireframe sketches and experience flow maps.
• Develop interactive prototypes and perform usability testing and visual mockups.
• Prepare presentations and reports for projects and exhibition visits.
• Manage daily operational tasks, including administrative and coordination work.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in UX design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and interactive prototyping.
• Strong visual/UI design skills and ability to create illustrations.
• Ability to empathize with users to provide trust and delight.
• Must remain a registered student for the full duration of the internship.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• A portfolio demonstrating completed UX/UI projects (strongly preferred).
