TL;DR
Fair For AI Project Officer (AI): Shaping and contributing to infrastructure for transparency and reproducibility of research software and data with an accent on ML/AI and FAIR principles. Location: Must be based in the Netherlands (working remotely from abroad is not possible)
Salary: €4,728–€6,433 gross per month

What you will do
- Develop accreditation criteria and quantitative metadata values for a graded badge to verify software and model reproducibility.
- Gather and synthesize requirements for integrating ML and AI functionalities into research data infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with Dutch institutions including the Netherlands eScience Center, Nikhef, and University of Twente.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables, authoring reports and guidelines in collaboration with partners.
- Organize workshops, meetings, and outreach activities to promote project outcomes and opportunities.
- Contribute to broader 4TU.ResearchData community events and support team activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project management, administration, and reporting.
- Proven track record of working within higher education and research contexts.
- Expertise in machine learning, responsible AI, or research data infrastructures.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills for stakeholder management.
- Affinity with and knowledge of open science and FAIR data/software principles.
- Must be based in the Netherlands.
