TL;DR

Lead Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/K8s): Designing and managing production reliability and operational excellence for a privacy-first compliance infrastructure with an accent on observability, incident management, and NOC leadership. Focus on building automated systems to reduce incident frequency and improving system resilience across distributed AWS environments.

What you will do

  • Own the reliability and operational health of production systems and critical services.
  • Lead the NOC function, including shift structure, escalation paths, incident handling standards, and operational reporting.
  • Act as the senior escalation point and incident commander for high-severity events.
  • Design and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling for early issue detection.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve system resilience, deployment safety, and production readiness.
  • Mentor senior NOC engineers to raise technical depth and decision quality across the function.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, platform, or software engineering with significant production ownership.
  • Strong expertise operating production systems in AWS.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized services, and modern infrastructure tooling.
  • Proven track record of designing and running incident response programs and NOC operations.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and improving CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to write automation code in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
