Lead Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/K8s): Designing and managing production reliability and operational excellence for a privacy-first compliance infrastructure with an accent on observability, incident management, and NOC leadership. What you will do
- Own the reliability and operational health of production systems and critical services.
- Lead the NOC function, including shift structure, escalation paths, incident handling standards, and operational reporting.
- Act as the senior escalation point and incident commander for high-severity events.
- Design and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling for early issue detection.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve system resilience, deployment safety, and production readiness.
- Mentor senior NOC engineers to raise technical depth and decision quality across the function.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, platform, or software engineering with significant production ownership.
- Strong expertise operating production systems in AWS.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized services, and modern infrastructure tooling.
- Proven track record of designing and running incident response programs and NOC operations.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and improving CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to write automation code in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
