What you will do

• Manage and grow the core wholesale broker base and Gross Written Premium (GWP).
• Monitor a middle market book of business to ensure financial targets and profitability are met.
• Propose and negotiate price, coverage, and terms for insurance policies.
• Analyze risk within corporate guidelines and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with cyber analytics, product, and marketing teams to optimize broker offerings.
• Partner with technology and data teams to develop tools that enhance the underwriting process.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as an underwriter in cyber liability, Tech, Media E&O, or specialty commercial insurance.
• Proven track record of strong account retention and new business results.
• Solid knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting and insurance industry practices.
• Strong technology affinity and ability to work with advanced analytics software.
• Technical understanding of DNS, IP addresses, ports, databases, and computer networking concepts.
