What you will do

• Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Manage and analyze large, complex datasets across relational databases.
• Support data integrations, reconciliations, and the resolution of data-related issues.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and client services teams to define and implement data requirements.
• Investigate data anomalies to ensure high data quality and precision.
• Contribute to documentation and establish best practices for SQL and data workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with complex SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Experience in financial services, investment management, or performance reporting.
• Proven track record of working with large financial or transactional datasets.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Ability to translate business or client requirements into technical data queries.
• Must be based in the United States (Pittsburgh or Boston).

Nice to have

• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Experience supporting ETL processes or data integrations.
