Head of Delivery – Defence Services Finland and Baltics

Location: Tampere, Finland; work based in the Tampere office. The role covers delivery activities in Finland and the Baltic countries and requires approximately 20–30 days of domestic and international travel per year.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple projects deploying the SitaWare and Iris product suites.
• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and quality while developing long-term customer relationships.
• Drive business development through solution design, scoping, estimation, and proposal writing.
• Lead and develop project managers, architects, test managers, and engineers in Finland.
• Manage recruitment, retention, coaching, and professional development within the delivery team.
• Support hirify.global’s expansion in emerging and established markets.

Requirements

• Significant project management experience with complex delivery projects involving COTS software products.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and complex stakeholder management, preferably in a global context.
• Strong people management, leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Experience working in a medium to large company with mature software and IT development practices.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an IT-related field.
• Fluent Finnish and English, written and spoken, are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global business environment and building long-term customer relationships.
• Experience fostering collaboration and driving organisational growth.
• Certifications such as PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA Level B/C.
