Program Manager (Defence Services)

TL;DR

Program Manager (Defence Services): Heading the delivery of high-quality services to C4I customers and overseeing multiple software development projects with an accent on project delivery and implementation. Location: Tampere, Finland. Must have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple projects involving the deployment of SitaWare and Iris product suites.
• Ensure delivery within the agreed scope, schedule, and quality while maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships.
• Drive business development, including creating and scoping solutions, estimation, and proposal writing.
• Lead and develop a team of project managers, architects, test managers, and engineers in Finland.
• Manage recruitment, retention, and professional development within the delivery team.
• Support the expansion of hirify.global’s presence in both emerging and established markets.

Requirements

• Significant project management experience and a proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing complex delivery projects of COTS software products.
• Experience from customer-facing roles and ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, ideally in a global context.
• Strong leadership skills, including people management, coaching, and team development.
• Experience of working in a medium to large company with mature software/IT development practices.
• Hold an IT-related degree at bachelor’s or master’s level.
• Communicates fluently in both Finnish and English: written and spoken.
• Must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
